Coleus is planted for its foliage. comes in many sizes and colors. It can thrive in full sun, to partial shade, to full shade, depending on which you choose.

• Very heat tolerant

• Most new varieties grow in full sun to part-shade, but read the tag to be sure.

• Lots of colors and combinations to choose from

• Performs well in pots or in the ground

• Interesting light, dark and multi-color foliage

• Can be upright, or semi-trailing.

• Upright varieties can be quite large, up to 3 feet high and wide. Choose wisely

• Plants produce flowers, but many gardeners remove them to promote growth

• Can be cut back a little or a lot to manage its size for the space or container
